Principle Duties and Responsibilities

This position is for a full time, self-contained classroom in one of our intermediated grades (3rd-5th grade). The primary responsibilities will be for the education of the students in the class assigned, which includes, but not limited to the following:
Providing a positive and safe student learning environment, which facilitates student learning and complies will all Archdiocesan, local and state policies and laws; the promotion of Catholic faith and values in the classroom and upholds the standards of the Catholic Church; the development and implementation of an instructional program that meeds the needs of the different needs of the students; the maintenance and submission of student attendance records, grades, and other student records as per the school's policy and principal's guidance; the promotion of a positive school-community relationship through regular parent communication, parent teach conferences as well as other school related programs.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Teaching experience in a Catholic preferred, but not required; valid NE Teaching certificate and Archdiocesan safe environment training.

Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree (B.S./B.A. in education)
