Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Teach 6-8 grades social studies and religion or math for the 2022-23 school year. The position will require that the teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and implementing grade-level curriculum and standards as well as working strategically with our team of middle school, specials, special education, and Title I teachers and paraprofessionals.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The teacher will work daily in a Catholic, faith-filled environment to form and develop students. The teacher must also set high classroom expectations in all areas, develop and implement daily lesson plans as part of a long-term scope and sequence aligned to the Archdiocese curriculum. The teacher must be able to use a variety of rigorous formative and summative assessments to evaluate individual academic progress and adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of students while setting and reinforcing clear expectations and routines that align with school-wide values and policies.

Education and Experience
A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Provisional Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university. Middle-level endorsement preferred.
