Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Duchesne seeks a teacher who can inspire literary analysis and a love of learning beginning in the fall of 2023.


Duties include:
Modeling the Goals and Criteria of the Sacred Heart and incorporating these values to the classroom
Professionalism in self-presentation and relationships
On-going professional development
Methodology and pedagogy that build student engagement and understanding of content
Co-curricular supervision and attendance at community events, activities, and mass
Two extra duties determined in consultation with the principal
Participation in school improvement plans
Communication with parents for any student concerns

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants must be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a secondary English endorsement.
