Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and grow social media channels by creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring trends.
> Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Marian's overall marketing goals.
> Identify target audiences, market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy development.
> Develop engaging and creative content that resonates with the target audience and adheres to the brand voice, including text, image and video posts.
> Monitor and respond to comments.
> Manage content calendars.
> Monitor sub-accounts and serve as a resource to staff and student-generated social media accounts.
Support content creation and brand management
> Assist with website content updates, graphic design, photography and video in cooperation with the marketing team.
> Develop relevant content for various digital channels, including websites, blogs, social media and email marketing.
Provide community support
>Serve on Marian’s marketing and enrollment committee
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suites, Canva, social media platforms, content management systems/web design.
> Knowledge of digital marketing channels, strategies and best practices.
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
> Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
> Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
> Strong project management and organizational skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Arts degree preferred in marketing, graphic design, public relations, communication or related field.
> Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
