Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Demonstrates a love of reading and embraces the world of information
* Remain knowledgeable about books and authors and new literacy materials and reading instruction.
* Instruct students in the skills necessary to think critically about information and to communicate new learning in a variety of formats.
* Collaborate with others, serving as a change agent and leader, to create a foundation for students to be effective users of ideas and information to ensure independent lifelong learning.
* Understand and use various technology platforms to enhance student learning


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Collaborative: Willing to work with teachers, students, parents, and administration as a team player

Cooperative: Willing to support the mission and vision of the school

Technological: Willing to assist staff and students with various technology needs

Analytical: Able to interpret and use data impact instruction

Education and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Education, Nebraska certified and have an endorsement in Library/Media (or be willing to work toward endorsement)

This position can start as a long-term sub beginning in March 2025. A teaching contract for the 2025-2026 will be extended if the experience is positive for the teacher and the school. It is an open position for the 2025-26 school year.
