Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Jesuit Academy is seeking excellent candidates for the role of Religious Education/Theology Teacher serving boys in Grades 4-8 for the 2021-2022 school year. The primary focus of the role is to create and deliver a dynamic, engaging, and challenging curriculum to students. The teacher is successful by demonstrating objective-driven instruction, high expectations, accountability for students, and rigorous student engagement. Working as part of a team, the teacher communicates effectively with colleagues and parents. Teachers at Jesuit Academy serve as role models that inspire students to think critically, reflect, explore, and become Men For Others.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● Supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the Jesuit Nativity mission of the school
● Practicing Catholic
● Supporting and adhering to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the school and Archdiocese

Education and Experience
● Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university
● A valid NE Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) in Middle Grades with one or multiple content areas identified
