Get to Know: Megan Fiedler, Facilitator of Curriculum & Assessments

Welcome, Megan Fiedler!  Megan is the newest Facilitator of Curriculum & Assessments in the Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic Schools Office (CSO). Prior to beginning in our office, Megan served as Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes, one of the six schools of the Omaha Catholic School Consortium.  She has also held positions that include teaching grades 7-12 Language Arts, Speech, Drama, and English.  Having already worked within the Archdiocese, she is a natural fit!

Megan grew up in Lincoln and completed her undergraduate degree at University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education.  She obtained a Master’s of Science in K-12 Reading from UNO and a Master’s of Science in Education in K-12 Administration from Concordia University.

Megan and her husband Michael have two children. Her children enjoy swimming and running cross-country.  As a family, the Fielders love to take trips to the mountains, or any destination that includes a body of water!

One highlight of her role is that she will help the CSO equip Catholic school leaders to make data-informed decisions to improve student learning.

Please join us in support and prayer for Megan as she begins this new role.
