“The Catholic identity and faith formation students encounter daily in our schools is the foundation upon which academic excellence is delivered.”
- Most Rev. George J. Lucas, Archbishop of Omaha
Educating the Mind and Heart
In our 70 Catholic schools, children are enriched by a complete education right from the start. Archdiocese of Omaha Catholic schools form students mind, body and spirit, so they can become the people that God intended.
We welcome students preschool through 12th grade.
53 elementary schools
17 high schools
Nearly 20,000 students across 23 counties in northeast Nebraska
We Love Affordability
We believe all families who want to provide their children with a Catholic education should have the opportunity. Tuition assistance is available from a number of private and parish-based programs. This aid is not required to be repaid. It is not a loan, but rather a direct reduction in the amount of tuition owed.
Families at our schools receive millions of dollars in needs-based tuition assistance as well as merit-based scholarships each school year between these various sources. In 2020, the archdiocese provided more than $500,000 in tuition assistance for 440 high school students alone. These scholarships were funded by the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, the Catholic Futures Foundation of Northeast Nebraska, and private donors.
We Love Faith in Academics
Our Curriculum and Instruction encourage relationship with Christ
Faith is the reason for our existence and the foundation for everything we do and say. Catholic social teachings are central to the experience at each of our schools, and we are committed to growing students' faith by educating them on Catholic teachings and living according to the principles Jesus taught. Each school's curriculum is devoted to lifelong learning and formation.LEARN MORE
