Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working with intermediate students in a self-contained classroom. Duties include lesson planning, instruction and supervision of students. Additionally, the teacher will be responsible for attending professional meetings and community events as directed.

We are looking for candidates who possess skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. Other characteristics for a successful teaching experience include an engaging classroom presence, value in real-world learning, knowledge of appropriate pedagogy and a lifelong love of learning.

Education and Experience
This position requires a current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or progress toward a certificate as required by the Nebraska Department of Education with the appropriate endorsement. Experience in a school or instructional setting is a plus, but not required.
