Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The middle school religion/theology teacher will be responsible for teaching the Catholic Faith during the Religion classes for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students as well managing a homeroom class. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic with knowledge of the Catholic faith as well as possessing teaching experience.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
NE Teaching Certification, Archdiocese of Omaha-Safe Environment Trained, Knowledge of the Catholic Faith as well as experience with Catechesis and the Sacraments (especially Confirmation).

Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree (preferably in theology or related field), Teaching experience and/or experience in Religious Education/Catechesis Programs.
