Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking applicants for the 2022-23 school year to fill a 1st grade self-contained classroom position. The successful candidate will facilitate student success and growth in academic areas, as well as social-emotional, and spiritual areas. The successful candidate will build a positive rapport with all stakeholders and will facilitate the education of all individuals in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants must have a background in elementary education, Catholic faith preferred, classroom management and the ability to manage duties associated with a self-contained classroom.
-Demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow, and improve as a teacher.
-Prefer experience with Guided Reading and Fountas and Pinnell reading assessment.
-Prefer experience in small group instruction as well as instructional routines.
-Maintain a positive attitude and approach.
-Support colleagues in and out of the classroom.
-Represent the school in the larger community in a positive manner.

Education and Experience
Elementary Education K-6 certification in Nebraska
Safe Environment and Background Check needed before the start date
