Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Caring and experienced educator needed for the 2023-2024 school year to provide one-on-one and small group intervention and support to students who possess an IEP or Accommodation Plan. Examples of responsibilities: Demonstrate effective instructional practices when teaching or re-teaching math, reading and other subjects. Help with identification of students who require intervention to be successful. Develop plans by collaborating with classroom teachers, administrators, counselors and families. Co-teach lessons with and provide support to classroom teachers as needed. Track students’ progress and maintain communication with families. Work with local public schools in the creation of IEPs.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Classroom experience or other related experience preferred.

Education and Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in related educational field
Current State of Nebraska teaching certificate
