Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School is seeking qualified applicants for a 6th Grade Science/Math teacher.
The teacher will work daily in a Catholic faith-filled teaching environment to form and develop students.
The teacher must set high classroom expectations in all areas.
Use a variety of rigorous formative and summative assessments to evaluate individual academic progress and adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of students
Set and reinforce clear expectations and routines that align with school-wide values and policies.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Teach science and math in a diverse and growing Catholic school.
Maintain a positive attitude with students, families, and staff
Be prepared to share your knowledge and experience with students and staff.
Come willing to grow and know that you will be supported along the way.

Education and Experience
Bachelors in Education
Must possess a Nebraska Teaching Certificate or be able to attain prior to start date
Middle school endorsed is preferred
Safe Environment certified
