Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesSt. Robert Bellarmine Catholic School is searching for PK-8 Assistant Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities include assisting the principal in providing instructional leadership to staff, and assisting in the day to day building administration and the safety and welfare of students, staff, volunteers, and visitors. He/She will support the principal in setting the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the staff within the school. The candidate will be a practicing Catholic committed to advancing the mission and vision of the school. He/She will help foster the Catholic identity of the school by promoting Catholic values and nurturing the faith formation and spirituality of the faculty, staff and students. St. Robert Bellarmine proudly serves 550-575 pre-school through 8th grade students with a team of 55 teachers, teacher aids and support staff and boasts a rich history of academic excellence, high test scores, with active and engaged parents. RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess Nebraska Administrative certification, a high level of professionalism, superior communication and relationship-building skills, a strong instructional presence, an intuitive understanding of utilizing data to inform instruction, and well-developed competencies in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science
Master’s Degree in Education Administration
Possesses or able to secure a valid Nebraska Administration Certificate
Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher
