Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Columbkille Catholic School is seeking a positive, engaging individual to join our team as the assistant director in August!

The Assistant Director position is a part time. Hours are 2:30-6:00 PM on days when school is in session. We are open year round including during school breaks and in the summer; hours are flexible and will vary on those days. Duties include (but aren't limited to):

Working with the program director to provide a safe environment for children in preschool through 8th grade.
Assisting the director in planning activities, meals, etc.
Supervising and engaging with children
Interacting positively with children, parents, and caregivers

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understands social and emotional norms for children ages 4-14
Ability to communicate effectively with children, caregivers, coworkers, and supervisors
Has a positive attitude
Enjoys sharing faith and building community with children

Education and Experience
Previous experience working with children is desired. Must be at least 19 year old.
Must complete the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training course which includes a background check
