Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Matthew is seeking assistants for our after school extended care program. Assistants are responsible for helping to provide a safe, engaging, and positive experience for children in grades P-8. Our afternoon program runs from 3:00-6:00 on school days with extended hours during school breaks and in the summer. Hours are flexible.Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHas a basic understanding of the social-emotional norms for children ages 4-14
Must be comfortable interacting with children and with parents and other caregivers if needed
Must be able to be or already have completed Safe Environment Training.
Education and Experience
Experience working with children in a childcare setting is desirable but not required
