Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Mercy High School, an all-girls Catholic high school founded by the Sisters of Mercy, is accepting applications
for the position of Assistant Track Coach for the 2023-2024 school year. The Assistant Coach will help with the
offseason conditioning of student athletes and coach specific events as assigned by the Head Coach.

Mercy is a mission-driven organization with a diverse student population focused on academic excellence and
the inspiration of young girls to become confident Women of Mercy who embody faith, knowledge, and
compassionate service.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Committed to the mission of Mercy High School
- Experience coaching track is preferred
- Strong rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents
- Maintain consistent communications with the Head Coach
- Assist with offseason conditioning

Education and Experience
- Experience coaching track is preferred
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid required
- Have or be able to obtain either a Teaching, Coaching, or Special Services Certificate
- NFHS Online Classes - three are required before the season starts
