Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Mercy High School, an all-girls Catholic high school founded by the Sisters of Mercy, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Cross Country Coach for the 2024 - 2025 school year. The Assistant Coach will help with the offseason conditioning of student athletes and coach specific events as assigned by the Head Coach.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Committed to the mission of Mercy High School
- Experience coaching cross country or track is preferred
- Strong rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents
- Maintain consistent communications with the Head Coach
- Assist with offseason conditioning

Education and Experience
- Experience coaching cross country or track is preferred
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid required
- Have or be able to obtain either a Teaching, Coaching, or Special Services Certificate
- NFHS Online Classes - three are required before the season starts
