Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The STEM teacher will plan, teach and assess STEM standards for students in Preschool through 4th grade. The teacher will be responsible for Integrated STEM curriculum and programming that meets the Archdiocese of Omaha standards and as well as providing assistance with other technology needs. The MOQ STEM program foundation is Project Lead the Way. Program instructional goals are based on Next Generation Science standards, CSTA & ISTE, Archdiocesan math and ELA standards.Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-Experience with STEM instructional strategies preferred but not required
-Experience with SCIENCE instruction in primary grades
-Demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow, and improve as a teacher through professional development, mentorship, and administrative guidance
-Work collaboratively with other teachers
Education and Experience
-Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education
-NE Teaching Certificate (or a provisional license)
-Safe Environment Certified
