Principal Duties and Responsibilities

All Saints Catholic School is currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school for the anticipated position of Middle School (6-8) ELA teacher.
The English Language Arts teacher fosters language development, literacy skills, and a love for literature while integrating Catholic teachings and values into the curriculum.
Develop and implement a comprehensive ELA curriculum aligned with grade-level standards and the school’s educational values.
Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and morals into ELA instruction, connecting literature and language arts to meet the school's mission.
Create diverse and culturally responsive lessons that promote critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for reading and writing.
Provide engaging and dynamic instruction that caters to various learning styles and abilities.
Manage classroom activities, transitions, and behavior effectively, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.
Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding and progress in ELA skills.
Effectively observes assigned work hours-maintaining a pattern of prompt and regular attendance.
Maintains a cooperative working relationship with all stakeholders.
Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education with proper endorsements in ELA.
Valid Nebraska state teaching certificate with proper ELA endorsement.
Must complete Safe Environment training and background check.
Previous experience teaching ELA preferred.
