Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Margaret Mary seeks a first grade teacher for the 2024-25 school year. A strong background in primary level pedagogy and reading instruction is desired. We are seeking a faith-filled educator who is a practicing and active Catholic. St. Margaret Mary is known for academic excellence, a competitive salary scale, our close-knit and supportive community and our staff longevity. We are looking for someone who is student-centered, seeks knowledge and professional development, and would be collaborative with our school team. Position open until filled.Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSubjects taught include reading, spelling, phonics, religion, math, science, social studies. Our school uses Facts SIS, Google Classroom and other online tools. Applicant must be familiar with or open to learning use of digital resources.
Education and Experience
Must be certified Nebraska educator and have ability to be certified. Duties will begin in August 2024. Applicant will need to complete Safe Environment training prior to start date.
