Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for educating young learners in accordance with standards and school goals and communicating with parents, administration, and other colleagues. Classroom teachers are responsible for classroom management that is effective and compassionate. The candidate will implement content curriculum and collaborate often with other staff members to ensure alignment and address student concerns and needs. St. Augustine Indian Mission School, rooted in Catholic Identity and Native American Culture, creates lifelong learners, assisting them to respect all life, become self-directed, and contribute positively to their community.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Licensed and Certified in the state of Nebraska for elementary instruction or in the process of certification.

Education and Experience
Qualified Candidates must complete Safe Environment training and successfully pass a background check.
