Principle Duties and Responsibilities

This position is for a 4-year-old PreK teaching position. The teacher would be teaching two 1/2 day sessions. Mornings from 7:55am until 11:00am and then 12:00-3:15pm. The candidate would be developing classroom behavior, such as following directions, sharing and working with others as well as carrying out the PreK curriculum and help foster a love of school and learning.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good working with young children.
Working as a team with PreK Para and other teachers.
Knowledge of early childhood development.
Knowledge of the Catholic faith and ability to share at an elementary level.

Education and Experience
A practicing Catholic
A Nebraska certified teacher in Early Childhood certification or willing to obtain this certification.
Experience with young children. Good verbal and written communication skills.
