Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, Omaha, is seeking qualified applicants for a Computer Teacher. Starting August 1, 2020, this is a full-time position teaching computer skills to students from 1st through 8th grade. Students will be learning to keyboard, Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as PowerPoint. We have developed a coding curriculum and will pay for a teacher's advancement with Code.org.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of instructional strategies.
Knowledgeable in computer skills and different educational programs.
Can work as part of a team comprised of classroom teachers, instructional paras, and resource and support staff.
Capable of working and communicating effectively with parents.

Education and Experience
Must hold a valid Nebraska teaching license.
Must be Safe Environment certified.
Must pass a background check.
Must be an active practicing Catholic.
Must be knowledgeable in computer skills and programs.
Desire to expand their computer and coding skills.
