Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Lesson plan, instruct, and assess students in 7th grade geography and 8th grade history
- Differentiate and support a wide variety of learners
- Collaborate with other staff members as part of the Middle School Unit

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to plan and assess social studies instruction in the middle school grades.
- Ability to follow the standards as established by the Archdiocese of Omaha
- Knowledge of a variety of instructional strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents
- Work as an integral part of a team that includes teachers, administrators, and support staff

Education and Experience
- Nebraska Teaching Certificate
- Endorsed in Social Studies
- Safe Environment Certified
- Previous Teaching Experience Preferred
