Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Actively instruct students, create lesson plans, assign and correct homework, manage students in the classroom, differentiate instruction based on data, build positive relationships, communicate effectively with parents, and be a team player
* Instruction would include teaching 5th-8th Math classes OR 5th-8th Language Arts.
* 7th grade homeroom responsibilities and related teacher duties

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Endorsed in middle school math OR Language Arts or working towards endorsement
* Safe environment certified or able to be certified
* Has a positive attitude and a strengths-based approach to problem solving
* Enjoys sharing faith and building community with middle school aged children

Education and Experience
Candidates must hold (or be able to acquire) a valid NE teaching certificate; a middle school endorsement is valued but not required
